P.S. I Made This…Cork Clutch

Valentine’s Day is a special occasion that calls for special accessories. This year, leave your leather tote behind and carry this classy little cork clutch you can make yourself! It’s perfect for a wine-tasting party or big evening out. Erica Domesek of P.S. I Made This… shows us how.

“Get ready to slice, glue, and stud your way to this sassy, chic cork clutch! To create: Apply a generous coat or two of glitter spray (such as Krylon Glitter Blast) onto a pencil case and wine cork. Cut cork paper to fit on top of the case (make it slightly smaller to create a border) and in a strip that will wrap around the wine cork. Push and secure stud details into each corner of the cork paper. With a Swiss Army knife, slice off a small section of the cork. Apply a dab of glue to a piece of the cork paper and wrap around the center of the cork. Add a stud to the top to finish off the faux toggle. Spread an even layer of glue onto cork paper with a foam brush and adhere to the case. Use glue to attach the faux toggle and hold it in place until dry.”

Host your own wine-tasting ladies’ night this Valentine’s Day with this Evite Postmark invitation:
