Pumpkin Pie Shake
Want all the fall flavor of pumpkin pie without all the baking? Try our devilishly delicious pumpkin pie shake for Halloween or any autumn affair. After all, the only thing better than eating pumpkin pie is drinking it!
Here’s the recipe for this sensational seasonal sipper. Add alcohol or not, and triple the recipe if you want to make a whole blender’s worth:
- Graham cracker crumbs (for rim of glass)
- 1 cup vanilla ice cream
- 1/3 cup pumpkin puree
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 2 dashes pumpkin pie spice
- 3 tablespoons whiskey or bourbon (optional)
Dip the rim of a tall drinking glass in a bowl of water, then dip it in a bowl of graham cracker crumbs.
In a blender, blend vanilla ice cream, pumpkin puree, milk, a dash of pumpkin pie spice, and whiskey or bourbon (optional) until combined but still thick.
Pour milkshake into graham-cracker-rimmed glass and top with another dash of pumpkin pie spice.
Serve with a straw (slip a plastic spider ring over the straw for bonus Halloween points). Enjoy!
